Karrol -  Good Morning!

I just wanted to give you an update on the home you helped with staging tips two weeks ago. We put it on the market last Sunday morning and by Tuesday evening we had 3 offers! My clients have accepted one of the offers, so we are now under contract after just three days on the market. Yay!  Thank you for all your help ~ I plan to make you a part of my listing presentation!

My husband and I recently opened a barbershop in Cedar Park and had the pleasure of working with Karrol to do a faux brick finish in our waiting and reception areas. We had our grand opening last month and we received so many compliments on how the brick warmed up the store and added to the overall retro feel. Karrol has added her touch to our new home and now our family room feels like a room for our family. . . Not just another room!  She has literally brought our room to life with her faux finishing.  We love it!  We also love the “wall of pears” in our kitchen - a pear is not a pear, until Karrol paints one special for you.  Karrol, working with you was like working with family - thanks for adding your touch to our home.

Our home now has many Creative Option touches and we love the feeling of every room.  Karrol created a color palette that flows beautifully without being either boring or too extreme.  Our kitchen and family room flow from “cinder block” accents to solid “stone walls”, our daughters’ bedrooms are individualized, but have the common element of clouds floating all around them, and our master bedroom is a deep earthy terracotta European rubbed glaze for a very warm and romantic feeling.  Karrol convinced us to have black satin stripes in our master bath area with our white and terracotta accents, and the effect is amazing!  To top it off, Karrol added her touch by re-arranging the furniture and accessories - moving items around from room to room - to complete everything to perfection in our eyes. Thank you Karrol!  We love it!!

Dear Karrol Kay ~ just a quick note to say a wholehearted “thank you” for your help in repairing the faux finish in my living room.  When the water damage occurred in the middle of my large room, I thought I would have to go to the trouble and expense of repainting and losing the faux finish that I so love.  Your talent and imagination saved me!  I love the block effect that you used to repair the damaged area and blend into the room.  Thanks much!

What a delight it is to tell everyone about Kay Houser’s faux paint finishes!  Kay created several unique color stories throughout our home - everything from earthy “stucco” in our foyer and great room to fluffy clouds floating above pale yellow walls in the children’s bathroom, to baby blue glazed stripes in the nursery.  She deftly applied rich washes over a palette of challenging colors including midnight blue, apple red, and bright orange.  Each design was original and beautifully hand-crafted.  Her attention to detail is amazing!
